QUALIFYING FINAL REVIEW
MONDAY 5th SEPTEMBER 2011
The Colts continued their good form in the first round of the finals. They controlled the game from the outset, winning comfortably. Lewis Taylor returned to good form, dominating the ruck and giving first use to the onballers.
Our Seniors went into the game hoping to get their premiership defence back on track. However, key outs pre-game and injuries on the day proved very costly. Jackson O'Brien and Matthew Drury fought bravely and played very well.
Special Mention Segment
This week's special mention goes to Roger Curtis our Club Patron. As well as managing his own busy legal practice, Roger always finds time to assist the club and is the convenor and host of the Coterie Group at home games. Roger is a stalwart at the club and we thank him for his great contributions over many years.

ROUND 17 REVIEW
MONDAY 22nd AUGUST 2011
Our young Colts came up against an old rival in Lauderdale and came off second best this week. Brad Coad was a shining light in the 20 point loss as he continued his great form on the field.
The Senior Roos took on the Bombers, who were looking for a win to secure a finals berth. Cameron Thurley starred yet again and Adam Green returned to the side from injury and showed outstanding form straight away, helping our side to a 15 point win.
Special Mention Segment

ROUND 16 REVIEW
MONDAY 15th AUGUST 2011
Last week the Colts side took on a much stronger Hobart outfit. Even with a few players getting senior call ups, our young side was able to control the game and ran out 86 point winners. Brad Coad and Matthew Ling were dominant throughout the game.
The Senior Roos were expecting a fierce clash with their much underrated Tiger opponents and that is exactly what they got. Cameron Thurley and Jackson O'Brien were instrumental again in helping to extend the break at every change.
Special Mention Segment
This week's special mention goes out to two ladies who work tirelessly to support the club. Wendy Joseph and Evelyn Wickham can be found working on game day in the bars, helping out at our much loved golf day and you will also find their many delicious dishes at functions and after games.

ROUND 15 REVIEW (SPLIT ROUND)
MONDAY 8th AUGUST 2011
Both our sides had a well earned break this weekend. This gave them some time to spend with their families and friends, who give up a lot during the season so our players can do their best on the field.
We encourage all our members and supporters to get to every game now for the rest of the year and support both our Colts and Seniors in every endeavour. ONLY 7 WEEKS TO GO!
Our Mighty Women's Team

ROUND 14 REVIEW
MONDAY 25th JULY 2011
Our Colts begun the game against Devonport sluggishly but were able to turn this around at half time. A wonderful 10 goal performance from Ed Stanley and another 6 added by Reyne Westbury, guided the colts home by 136 points.
An insipid start plagued our Seniors, who found themselves trailing the Magpies for a while. A lift from Jackson O'Brien and Cameron Thurley provided the spark for the side and our boys ran out 55 point winners.
Special Mention Segment
The special mention segment this week goes to a man who works tirelessly for our club both during the week and also on the weekend. Robin Pulford can be found at the club during the week tending to emails and money taken from the weekend's game and then also at the game helping everything run smoothly. ROUND 13 REVIEW
MONDAY 18th JULY 2011
Our Colts begun the game against the Northern Bombers in good fashion and that was the theme for the rest of the game. Holding the Bombers to 39 points was made easy by the efforts of Matthew Ling and Josh Nibbs with our boys winning by 88 points.
The Seniors bounded out in their game, kicking further away from North Launceston at every change. Cameron Thurley once again showed all his class and ball-winning ability both through the midfield and up forward, kicking 7 goals and steering the side home by 60 points.

ROUND 12 REVIEW
MONDAY 11th JULY 2011
Looking to improve on last week's draw, the Colts fronted up against North Hobart. Eager to improve, they played a great game in the windy conditions. Lead by Sean Tisdale and Josh Nibbs, the end result was a 25 point win.
The seniors faced a rejuvenated Demons line up. Our boys again played well and controlled the play most of the day in the tricky weather. Trent Standen and Tim Castle showed their class helping to a 44 point win.
Milestone
This coming week Gregg Sharman plays his one hundredth senior game against North Launceston. Sharmo you are a fantastic player and clubman and have given the club outstanding service and we salute you on this major achievement.

Playing in a do or die game, our Seniors came up against rival Glenorchy. After a slow start our boys powered away to win by 59 points. Trent Standen hit career best form, kicking 9 goals and being best afield.
